No matter how many people are in a household, shoes always seem to be one of the hardest categories to keep organized. As people come and go, pairs get tossed by the door, kicked under the couch, and tossed into closets—and somehow even the largest shoe racks never seem to have enough capacity. Baby shoes come with all the same challenges—except they're smaller and even easier to misplace! Here are a few tips and hacks to help answer the age old question: How do you organize baby shoes?
Keep Pairs Together
The first key to keeping baby shoes organized is keeping track of both shoes. (And most parents know that's not always an easy feet...er, feat.) Keep a stash of clothespins or simple bag/chip clips wherever you typically take your babe's shoes off. Keep a little basket near the door, in the nursery, or even a few spares in the diaper bag. As soon as shoes are off, clip them together so they're never missing their partners.
If You Have Drawer Space
If you have space for baby shoes in a dresser drawer, your best bet is to use a drawer divider with lots of small square compartments, such as a sock drawer organizer. Each compartment can comfortably fit one pair of baby shoes and you can easily arrange them by season or size.

If You Have Closet Space
If your drawers are packed but you've got a little space in the closet, most organizers recommend utilizing shallow clear plastic bins for baby shoes. Keep the shoes in one layer per bin so they're easy to access and you can easily see them without opening the bins.

If You Don't Have Much Space at All
If you need to organize baby shoes without closet space, over the door storage is a great solution! You can find an affordable over the door shoe rack at nearly any store. If you find you don't have enough baby shoes to justify using an entire shoe organizer, try filling the pockets with other accessories, rolled up baby clothes, diapers, or any other baby items that need a home.
